He yelled "fuck" to an official regarding a call. Only Bo Ryan gets away with that.

What sucks is he was blatantly fouled. That's 2 less FT's for us and 2 for them plus a possession. Ridiculous.
The refs were just trying to even the game up. I don't know if it's human nature or what but that was a strange sequence of events.

I thought the offensive foul where Craft tried to mount him was worse (basically committed a textbook intentional foul). I've never seen a guy get away with using both hands to grab someone and somehow get the call to go the other way.

It's pretty sad when a UofM fan feels the need to come to an MSU board, create an account imitating an MSU fan, and create multiple threads. It's even sadder that this fan creates new threads over a multiple month span. Obsess much?

how bout the call when the ohio state player basically tackles austin thorton under the basket and they call a double foul. Agree #4 on Day Day was a pretty shitty call as well , just another example of how when you are getting the benefit of the whistle you become more and more aggressive on defense because you know the whistle is going your way.

See because I think the most damning thing that happened was Appling believing he was Allen Iverson and running straight down the court and blowing lay-up after lay-up. Kid needs to get his head straight right now....Trice and Kearnrey are both becoming more viable options at the point right now, at least they are willing to look for someone else on the break.

I love Green but he has made questionable plays in big games before. The T and the terrible decision to settle for the fade-away in the last possession really hurt us today.

Before the T, he got hacked on 3 straight shots from point blank range. I completely understand his reaction, and think that is the ref allows for 3 "play-ons" instead of whistling any one of those 3 fouls, he should have given Green a warning and play-on as well.

No he did not. I was sitting right in that corner and I heard him very clearly. After the 3rd straight no call when he was fouled, he turned around and started to run up court, he turned his head to Mike Eades and yelled "Call the foul!". He did not swear or use any other adjectives. That was verbatim.

Alright, I counted at least four or five times where he came down and took a poor shot and trust me I screamed his name every single time and everyone in my house recalls me saying it. My wife came down after the game and asked me what Appling had done to get me so mad. Dude has not played well in a while.

Fine, but that was not the first time he said that or something like it. He was on the edge of a T for most of the game up until that point.

ok, well this isn't your responsibility, but if you want to defend your argument, please find me one POY in any conference (BCS or otherwise) that is also up for the Naismith who is given a technical for "talkin' " in the final home game of his senior year while playing for the conference title in the history of college basketball.

Thomas Robinson is the biggest trash talker/whiner in the entire country, and also a POY candidate, does anyone know if he has had more than a few T's this year?

I also think it was pretty harsh, but just to be clear - the on-the-court ability of a player should not give him more leeway against T's.
