I would hate to spoil the film for you but...

SPOILERS

there is a very intense rape scene (not as intense/awful as the one in Irreversible) but still pretty brutal.

Also the revenge scene is pretty fucked up as well. I'll just leave it at that.

Not complaining or anything cause I dug the film but I was just sorta surprised that the MPAA had no problem not granting it an NC17 rating

tWife and I saw this opening night. Seemed very close to the Swedish version that I saw on NetFlix awhile ago. Good flick at any rate.

This is driving me nuts. Can anyone tell me who plays Martin Vanger's firebushed babe, Eva Hassel. I know she has been in other stuff but I can't seem to find her in the IMDB or Google. She looks a lot like Connie Britton:

I see she was in A Nightmare on Elm Street in 2010 that Rooney Mara was also in. Seems strange that she would be uncredited in tGirl with tDragon Tatoo.

Saw it last night - it was excellent, going to have to check out the books now. For me, parts of the story felt reminiscent of silence of the lambs.
