Dude Petterson is not fat. He's like 210 at the most. That's not a bad weight for a golfer. Not everyone is Charles Howell or Charl Schwartzel out there. Phil probably has him by 20 pounds, 30 before March. Petterson also just laid waste to a pretty difficult golf course. Say what you want but the fat fucker was -14 on one of the more tricky courses on the Tour.

Ok, those were some big guys. I read a report that you burn over 1400 calories walking 18 holes of golf. I think it's like 1200 if you have caddy. Can you imagine how much shit those guys have to eat to be that big when they are burning 1200 calories EVERY DAY! With range time and maybe more then one round a day they probably burn closer to 1500. That's insane.

I seriously doubt you burn that many calories waling a course. I walk when I play and doubt this. Do the math. A 6400 yard course is about 3.5 miles. Do you burn 400 calories walking a mile? More like 120. And they walk 250 yards, stop for a few minutes and repeat. It's not an aerobic sport. I guess if you carry your clubs on a hilly course with walks between greens and tees you'd burn more but not 1200 calories.
