Flamingo was terrible. Not surprising to me considering everything they have ever done has left me extremely underwhelmed, if that's a word. I know it's not 'cuz I looked it up. That's one of those skills that I learned in my school.

I agree....hope the rest of album is better. The single is forgettable.

The lyrics remind me more of Springsteen (in the vein of "Born to Run"), who has always been an influence for them. Musically, though, it reminds me a lot of "City of Blinding Lights" by U2.

I like the song. It's not a standout or anything--my favorite of theirs is, and will probably always be, "When You Were Young"--but it's not bad. It's enough to make me want to check out the album. The Killers are one of my favorite bands, so I'd probably check it out anyways.
