  • I tried to watch it, but it is really bad (even gave it another chance last night). I wanted to like it, but bad characters, moves very slow, main detective is hard on the eyes, and it is raining in every f'ing shot (I know, I get that it is in Seattle). I think I am gonna pass on this one.

    Those are not Rosies shoes, she had one shoe on in the trunk so she wasn't wearing them, so who's are they
    Friend says in promo for next week she is involved with someone else that she wont say who...mayor to be???

    Rosie got raped by 2 teens in the basement, somehow there is a bloodbath down there, then she gets away runs into the woods and is followed by 2 people.....Mayor to be and campaign chick...hmmmm

    I think it's pretty good so far and about to get really good, I just hope it doesn't take forever to get to the murderer

    Feel the same way, seems like they are trying to hard to be different or something and it just doesn't work.

    Ratings are great (for AMC's standard), so it will be renewed most likely. "Rubicon" was hurt by bad ratings.

  • I just started watching Twin Peaks on Netflix. I forgot how similar the two shows are. A high school girl is murdered, the setting is in Washington, it's always raining, anyone might be the killer... Also it looks like The Killing producers damn near exactly copied the scene where the parents found out their daughter was dead. Maybe it was an homage? shrug

    It has grown on me, but it definitely took a while. I still have a hard time buying that Holder guy as a cop. I feel like there has to be something up with him just because it is so unbelievable at times.

  • I don't have cable so I'll have to wait to torrent it to see tonites episode. I've followed it up to this point.

    Let me say, the acting is superb. The cinematography is superb. The setup is okay. But the action is horrible.

    It's like LOST, they just keep propping up possibilities. First the dude is in the mafia. Then the guy is a possible terrorist. But the story drags ON.

    I'll keep watching but it's not my favorite right now. It just seems like more drama than action. It needs to move faster or ppl will stop watching it.

    On a side note, I just watched the first 3 episodes of Games of Thrones. OMG, that is awesome. A great mixture of intrigue, tits and ass, and blood/gore. Highly recommend.

    I moved, and went with WOW and dropped Comcast.
    However, now there is no more AMC on Demand. Which really sucks.

    I've been trying to watch it online but havent found a reliable site that streams it - and AMC doesnt seem to be doing episodes online.

    Ugh - if anyone has a site that might help I sure would appreciate it.

    Kinda have to agree with you on this. I wish they made the series shorter so it would be a little more exciting. I've watched too many episodes to call it quits now. Hopefully it will get better

    The thing is, the story and plot are as vanilla as you can get.

    I mean you look at Dexter, Mad Men or Breaking Bad, and they are extraordinary plots and stories. They are very unusual. What makes them great is that they aren't a nauseating predictable story typical of most network TV shows.

    The Killing is a chick that got murdered. *yawn* What's so different between that and a dozen cop shows already on? The quality and detail are much better. The characters are better. The actors are better and the imagery is better.

    But the story is still pretty vapid. I'll be honest, I don't care who did it really. And it's starting to get very cliche of a typical cop series.

  • Tell me when it ends, I'll go back and watch the last episode. This one has too many tired theme's that are recycled throughout every episode. Rosie's mother's understandably distraught but over the top -don't police stations have some basic security...and now they are beating the pulp out of the teacher-real entertaining. I was hoping for a Twin Peaks and this is no Twin Peaks.

    That seemed to be the case, but they ended that quickly. It looks like they are pointing to somebody inside one of the campaigns now.

    Do they leave off with a a cliffhanger, or do they catch the killer at the end of the season?

  • The episode with the missing kid was dreadful.

    Finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for the series though. No clue how they could consider greenlighting a 2nd season.

    That said, I bet it was the millionaire and he's framing the politician.
