The ending of caddyshack

seems a little off to me. The bet was originally for 20,000 and during the round was upped to 40,000. Ok fine but on the last hole Chevy says to Noonan, "dont worry about this one, if you miss it we lose". Well he made it so wouldn't that be a tie??? Now I do know a second bet was made on the putt (double or nothing) but wouldn't that signify a loss on the first bet??? You go double or nothing when you lose a bet.. What say you on this???

I say you're over-analyzing a great movie. But you're probably right - you may have caught one of those moments like in "Back to the Future" when the professor was wearing velcro tennis shoes - before velcro was used on tennis shoes. Or the Ferrari in the background of Ben Hur during the chariot races...

the ferrari Ben Hur thing is a myth. And doc had packed some luggage, which is why Marty had velcro tennis shoes.
