The kid sounds special. Not the UM thing, that's just funny. Just his general attitude sounds like a he could be a great team guy.
Other than that, it's interesting UM is calling on him.

I hope this clarifies any concern people had about him visiting Houston/TAMU. Nice find.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

He should probably know that it's hardest to get into grad school at the U you did undergrad at. For instance, MSU only takes a select # of kids from within MSU for it's clinical psych programs. It's actually easier to get into Stanford law by going somewhere else first.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

he probably thinks he's going to go straight into the law school...a lot of people don't understand that law school comes after completing the undergrad degree.
