This game doesn't mean anything to me

  • What does a loss even mean? All it means is we have two losses in conference. UM is irrelevant until they win the big ten or make a final four.

    There were about ten games I wanted to win more this year than beating UM. It just doesn't mean anything.

  • Also, we are 2-2 on the road in Big Ten play with 4 of our next 6 games at home. Michigan is 0-3 on the road for the season (Oakland @ the Palace doesnt count) and has 5 of their next six games on the road. They are going to be in meltdown mode in 3 weeks! Watch them burn!

    When UM loses 4 of their next 5 games will you still say that? They aren't even a top 4 big ten team this year.

    Honestly its hard for me to get overly emotional about the loss as I KNOW we are the better team and just didnt play well. It was like that with football too. It's almost like I have transitioned from W/L's to who actually has the better team. ( at least in Bball as of now) Football we had the better season and dominated them but they won their easy BCS game while we took out a quality SEC school in a lesser bowl. In this game we clearly had the better team and just did not perform well. ( which is extremely frustrating!) I am not going to hang my head though because we ARE BETTER. They are still trying to actually matter again.

    I agree I'm not hanging my head I know that we are a better team, but I'm still upset. I knew we were a better team than wisconsin in the BTCG, but was still very upset when we lost. Obviously that was a much bigger, more important game, but still the same type of situation.

  • I'm w/ the OP. Granted the NW loss INFURIATES ME. But this one was expected. Glad we made it close, but since no one understands ball on this board, I'll keep the reasons to myself.
