This time of the year sucks for sports

I really miss NFL & college football (as well as college basketball)
Baseball is so freakin boring and I could care less about the NBA playoffs.

Excellent point...but this is also a good time of year to take a break from sports and enjoy the party life that summer brings!!

I'm a fan of baseball, but, other than the NHL playoffs, the first half of the MLB season is the most boring times in the sports year.

it was pretty clear by the end of the 3rd quarter last night that the NBA has already fixed the Miami/Boston series and Boston is screwed

The worst is around the corner... Little League World Series. I really do not want to watch 9 year olds from Arkansas take on 9 year olds from Wyoming.

Agree 100%. Id rather repaint the house than watch a baseball game, and if the wings and pistons are out no reason to watch the nba/NHL finals.
I use the next few months to let the wife control the remote before I snatch it back with authority labor day weekend - and keep it thru memorial day.

Never understood the baseball hate. Goin to the ballpark --- whether it's HS or minor leagues of bigs--- is just a whole lotta fun. Love getting up close to see the velocity and power of our great pastime.

Going to the games is fun, but baseball is a horrible tv sport.

I'm excited for Kings/Devils. Nothing like playoff hockey.
The down time in sports is nice, go enjoy the nice weather. Or watch Leyland mess something up again.

I guess I'm just really antsy for football. Saw NFL Live the other day on ESPN and it got me pumped for football.
