Not that bad of an approach. You have the lead late in the game and a new pitcher in the game that was 100% told by skipper to just throw strikes. He was ahead of the count and got a meaty one down the plate. Why wouldn't he take a hack at it?

He's had a rough start out there so far. He's hitting the ball and his fielding will get a little bit better. Are you suggesting that we take him out of the lineup? We're 3-0 with him in the #3 hole this year.

yes swinging at a 1-0 pitch right down the middle is such a terrible approach, he should wait until it is 1-2 and swing at the breaking ball that bounces to the plate

No kidding, the guy is hitting 3rd for crissake, it's his job to hit the ball hard not beg for walks.
The peeve I usually have for Raburn's hitting is that he typically takes the same massive swing with two strikes.

Right, you know like the at-bat before when he swung away with two outs and a guy on first and then hit one off the wall scoring our first (and very important) run. Put the bat away dumbass! You should be sitting there like Will Rhymes and letting good pitches go by!

I take it you don't follow baseball very much. Keep watching and learning the game, you'll start to understand the little things about baseball by the end of the season.
