OK.
But if it becomes a giant pain, one of them will be gone.
I don't think Dirks can stay healthy anyway, so this may all be pointless. It's awfully hard for an Achilles to heal enough to be able to play baseball during a season.
That injury may be one that doesn't get back until next season. Dirks was scratched tonight in Toledo for soreness.

Nice bounce back win. The wasted chances didn't come back to haunt the Tigers for once. With JV pitching tomorrow, the series win is within their grasp and that should definitely have been the objective heading into Cleveland.

When I saw that quote I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, to have it mean, they can't both play in the outfield at the same time. But that really doesn't make much sense either, because if all the lefties played, Boesch would be seem to be the logical choice to DH.
