Tigers are 44-42 going into the break.

  • "The Tigers are prioritizing offense over starting pitching, according to an executive that has spoken to the team. The Tigers need second base help and could also explore trades for corner outfielders, starting pitchers and relievers."

Considering that Boesch, Avila, Peralta, Raburn, Santiago, Kelly, Worth, Inge, Fister, Scherzer, Valverde, Balester, and Schlereth have disappointed - they are barely OK.

How has Raburn disappointed? When you've always been bad, you're bad.

Why don't they just put their best fielder, Santiago , at 2b, and keep him there ? No platooning, no resting, just play him? He will bat .240-.250, won't strike out as often, can bunt, has some speed...........and again, HE'S OUR BEST FIELDER.

Worth is 100x better fielder than Santiago.

As a matter of fact, Ramon has actually really struggled in the field this year.
