To Prius C or not to Prius C?

  • What are people's general thoughts on this ride? I'm 28/m Not sure if it's age appropriate or stylish fora young stud like myself. It is cheap and gets 52 miles per gallon. Thanks for the help!

    nothing over 46 MPG but if your willing to accept 40 MPG highway instead, you can have the Ford fiesta, Ford Focus, Dodge Dart, and the chevy Sonic for at most 18,000 dollars and the money you spend comes right back to the state instead of being sent over seas.

    I'm not going to have this argument with you, I respectfully disagree with the idea that it's a global market given that I live in SE Michigan. Without the auto market, the region would collapse, so for people from this region not to buy American cars because they wan't a few more miles per gallon when they drive is unjustifiable to me. I understand nationally this isn't the sentiment, but in the Auto companies' backyard there shouldn't be a discussion over whether to buy foreign or domestic. We need the Auto companies to succeed or the state is ruined.

  • I bought the regular Prius two years ago. Best mve I ever made. I average about 44mpg, I drive 65-57 on hwy, Over 70 it goes down to 37-39, If you go 55 you get 52-53 on hwy..... I would never go that slow in a 70 but did test it a few times.

    I drive about 30k miles a year and save 2500.00+, I used to have an Expedition, 4-runner, Trailblazer....... I love the SUV's but I love saving th emoney more now and going to CA or FLA each year...

    And if the american companies can come up with somthing close oth the Prius I woul dbuy it.... I would buy a Volt if it wasn't 2x the cost of a Prius. Ridiculous on GM's part.

    I work for an auto supplier. We make parts for GM, Chrysler, Ford, Honda, Toyota, Mazda, VW, BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche. Our biggest money makers are Honda and BMW components. If we depended on the Big 3 to keep us in business, thousands of people in Michigan would be unemployed right now. Foreign car manufacturers are important to the American auto industry.
