  • Eh... Total loss of respect for him after the Steve Moore incident. I'm glad he doesn't want his teammates being assaulted, but not so glad he feels it's okay to assault others. I understand you guys are Wings fans, but Todd Bertuzzi is a POS. And yes I know it was because of the Naslund crap, but you are incorrect if you think Steve Moore deserved what he got.

    Like I said, I know there are those that think that when a player comes to Detroit, he suddenly becomes a saint. The Wings have had a good bunch of grinders come through who could play and were respected. Bertuzzi is not one of those. It's not a crime to admit a guy on your team is a dick.

    It is a crime when you have to manufacture this idea that a guy is a dick just so you can pounce against the idea that you fabricate and try to come across as some holier than though type church lady.

    Holy shit, dude. Stay off his nuts. Also, if someone punches you when you aren't looking and causes your broken neck... I'd say that's a dick move. Kinda common knowledge isn't it? What the hell are you saying I'm fabricating?

    If Todd doesn't paralyze him he gets MAX 10mins and maybe a fine. Probably no suspension. Do you still lose respect for him?

    Eh. He wasn't a dick before the Moore thing. He hasn't shown himself to be a dick since. Dude made a questionable decision that ended up having severe consequences, and spent 18 months out of hockey as a result.

    Grow up and move on.

    This, it was pretty well documented that Todd felt terrible about what he did, and never meant to hurt moore like that. It was the worst possible scenario (besides maybe someone dying) that could come of someone trying to pick a fight in a hockey game. It could happen any given night. It took me a long time to forgive Todd for what he did, not only to Steve Moore, but to the game of hockey in general. But as far as comebacks and professional rehabilitation goes, he has done great, and won back my respect at least.

    A tearful Todd Bertuzzi apologized Wednesday to Colorado's Steve Moore for the blindside attack that left Moore with a broken neck, a concussion and deep cuts on his face. The NHL was expected to announce the length of the Canuck's suspension Thursday.

    He was motionless on the ice for over 10 mins and got taken off on a stretcher. I'm not going to sit here and argue semantics with you. My point still stands regardless if he was really paralyzed or not.

Hell, Zetterberg could have had fractured a vertebra from Weber's jackass head into the glass move. Of course if that happened Weber would be suspended for the entire playoffs and there would be a huge uproar about how dangerous the NHL has become.

    again, this. Hockey is a rough game. Sometimes these guys make bad decisions, and if you dont think that Todd regrets what he did every single day of his life, then you are the delusional ones.
