He's definitely becoming more aggressive with his dickbaggishness this season.
Still, at least some of the story is about how UM hired a guy from Sampson's staff who was maybe kind of involved in the cheating. So, even though Crean comes across as a raving lunatic, his little spat seems to have worked.

I'm not saying it makes sense or was a smart thing for Crean to do, but I'm guessing most people didn't know that UM had an assistant who was implicated in the IU cheating scandal prior to yesterday. I didn't, and I'm a fairly avid college BBall fan and UM is our biggest rival.
So, to that end... I guess.

There is also some current bad blood between IU and UM based upon Alexander and Meyer's recruiting "tactics". Crean shouldn't have aired it out that way but then again, there are a lot of Sundays where I shouldn't get hammered when I know have to work on Monday morning. Sonuvabitch I feel turrible.

I think that it was a dick move, and his smirk is what will bury him in the "court of opinion."
And that said, I think it is hilarious in that it puts um in the ultimate conundrum. On one hand, they get the chance to deflect from their Historic Choke Job and attack crean instead, diverting attention from their Historic Choke Job. On the other hand, that means highlighting the fact that they have a proven cheater on their staff, which I didn't even know about. Uh-oh, Wolvie No!!!

I think it's finally hitting some on this board who were viewing him with former Green colored glasses just how much of a prick he is. Going to Marquette for grad school, I've heard quite a few horror stories of his time in Milwaukee, and how much of an a-hole he was and his general treatment of people. This guy was and always will be a douche.
