Michigan State's Tom Izzo: Difficult schedule, UConn loss will help Spartans build toward championship potential
The Spartans haven't won in big games at the start over the past two seasons, but as they face Kansas tonight in the Champions Classic, Izzo promised to continue challenging his teams with difficult schedules.

I love Coach Izzo. This is all that needs to be said. Let's go win tonight! If not.. it's not the end of the world but it would be darn good to get a win against a quality opponent.

This is such an awesome statement that I really am not sure exactly what it means.
Translation: "It is more important to think you're good than to actually be good." He'd rather run the team through the buzzsaw to make them come out a deadly weapon than shine them up and ask people to praise their beauty.
