and I hope that as the season goes on and we play less players (redshirts and no walk-on's) that Applings point scoring will increase. As I mentioned I didnt watch 2/3rds of the game. So I was theorizing as to what the stats' suggested to me... as someone pointed out - Payne looked fine - which is good to hear.
I was looking for guidance as to what might have really happened since I didnt see the game.

I dont want Appling to be afraid of taking the big shot or pulling the trigger, or making plays from the PG position.
Thats why Kalin was so effective - he had to be accounted for every second.

I got on AT most of the season because early on he didnt have to be accounted for - he would sit on the perimeter and pass it when he got the ball. Now AT isnt a point guard fair enough- but I want to make sure Appling still knows that he is a threat.

McGary needs to get bigger with his style of play, B1G centers will push him around. Morgan can get away with it because he's much more athletic.

UK will be good, but I don't see natty champs this year. Anthony Davis was such a difference maker, IDK that Noel is that guy. Cauley-Stein looks impressive.

Quick question regarding Kenny Kaminski. I knew that barring injuries to others, he was most likely red shirting. Just thought he might see a few minutes in the exhibition games for development purposes. I guess maybe Izzo feels there aren't enough minutes to go around. I know that in many non-revenue sports, the red shirts will see time during the pre-season. This doesn't count against the red shirt. I guess I'm just wondering if basketball is different, he's injured, or if they just have too many guys ahead of him that need time.
