Giving TR the ticket an hour later is just plain idiotic. But it isn't the most idiotic situation I have heard of. When I was in high school a buddy of mine was seen by an off duty cop on a Sunday afternoon allegedly accelerating to fast out of a parking lot onto the main road. The following Thursday the cop went to his house at 6 p.m. and gave him a speeding ticket. He went to court to get the ticket dismissed and the visiting judge not only upheld the ticket, he doubled the fine because my friend had the gall contest it. When my friend said he didn't have enough money to pay the doubled fine, the judge gave him fifteen minutes to go across the street to the bank and get the money or he would go to jail for 3 days. I was in the courtroom when it happened and I swear this is true. He also upheld my bogus speeding ticket I was there for because "police officers don't lie, but teenagers always do." The next case was an adult who ran over a handicapped kid on a bike and he dismissed it because he said the kid shouldn't have been riding a bike on the street. Turned out this judge never dismissed against teenagers. but usually did for anyone over 30.

Bartynski let Robinson leave the scene without issuing him a ticket. A short time later, Robinson left this post on Facebook:
“All I do is good for my city and try and set an example for the youth in my city of what not to do but for some reason when I come home and try and visit The Bay City Police always wanna stop me and take ms [sic] out my car and search me like I am out here selling dope!!! UN believable.”
An hour or so later, Robinson was dining with friends and family at Buffalo Wild Wings, 4050 E. Wilder Road, when Bartynski entered the restaurant. Robinson claims Bartynski approached him, handed him a $120 citation for failure to signal and said, “Here you go, role model, here’s a ticket...and I like your post on Facebook.”
