Yeah, that was their one magic year in Ann Arbor, made several great comebacks, ad the best season in 20 years that wasn't vacated. All the bounces went there way and they were able to make it to the 1st round of the Tourney where they got beat by a MAC school. It was truly the Dream Season over there, now back to the NIT with them.

Yeah, he's saying he hasn't declared as of now. Not that he isn't declaring. The CBS report didn't say he declared just that he will declare. They don't contradict each other. Why report it? Probably because he has an agent, that is the news and that is final, once you hire an agent there is no going back even if you haven't officially declared.

Honestly Burke was the one player that I actually liked on that team. I would frequently compliment the dude around my UM friends. Now that he's gone, there's nothing really redeeming about that program other than Beilein being a "nice guy". Scratch that - didn't he act pompous regarding "Ohio". He stooped to the rest of that athletic department's level.

I still think it's dangerous too assume the team next year is just going too fall off the map and go down too the cellar with Nebraska and Penn ST. Let's see how the season plays out first.

Funniest part about all of it is that they are getting some conflicting information that leaves them hope, what agony to go through, pretty much he is gone, but then his dad tweets that he hasn't made it official. That must totally suck for Wolverine fans.

Why is it dangerous? What's the danger? They needed every bounce to go their way this season to accomplish what they did. They are losing 7 players off that team including 4 of the top 6 including by far their best player and PG in Trey Burke. They are adding 3 freshman who aren't 5 star recruits and obviously aren't going to step in and star. That team is right back where they were 3 or 4 years ago.
