according to their Rivals site. With that said, I rather go play against the bye then aganist Cal.

I think there's more to it than that. If it became a true rivalry, it would be very good for both programs - an early game to match the Duke/UNC games in hype. It would also be a competitive game most years, as Kentucky would be very talented but inexperienced and not completely in sync at that point in the season.
The drawbacks are that Izzo may be doing a disservice to Crean by taking the pressure off Calipari after he dumped the Indiana game, and any association with Izzo would polish Calipari's image.

IU won't sign because they wan't the games played on campus, I don't blame them. While the Universities can make good coin off neutral site games, so do others not conncected to either school.
Another reason to hate Calipari. Greed screws up another college tradition.

Though I have no problem if Izzo wanted to schedule the Kentucky Cats- let it be known that I dont like Coach Cal and I really dont like how they handled the IU-UK situation, and I feel a certain sense of obligation to Coach Crean and our B1G brethren.

F UK and their fans. These same fans wanted to play us in the F4 instead of Florida or Memphis because they said we crap in our pants once we get to the F4.
