UM is now the poster child for all that's wrong with the BCS

  • xxmgobluexx whats going on your life man? Do you really have nothing better to do besides troll a message board for 4 hours straight on a Monday afternoon... No one here cares what you have to say, and despite what you may think, youre not helping yourself, UofM or anyone else who is actually affiliated with that school by being here.

    I think you need to get off the computer, go find a nice quiet place, sit down, think, and reevaluate your life.

    It's a flawed system, all the others in the top 14 deserve to be considered for a BCS game but the Sugar Bowl thought Michigan deserved to be selected.

    A decision which was based on money, not merit. That's the point that's been going on for several pages now. Michigan did not deserve a BCS bid based on merit, relative to other teams that did not receive a bid.

    You're probably right, just me in this almost 200 post thread with >4500 views.

    That's for the looking out for me. Do you have any concerns for the others that have contributed to this thread?

    10-2, top 14 ranking is the merit. The Michigan name recognition was what put them into the Sugar Bowl once they achieved that ranking. It's all good, B1G shares that chedder, spread the wealth man.

    MSU deserved the bid MORE than UM did. UM got in on "name recognition" over MSU.

    Not necessarily concerned about any members of this board being here because this is a Michigan State board. It concerns me that you are here because you are only here to argue and be a pain in the ass for everyone. I guess its more power to you if you seriously have time for shit like this.

    So you admit that there are other teams more qualified to be there based on merit. Cool. That must make you really proud to get in over more deserving teams due to what is effectively a bribe.

    That's what you read into that? Michigan did what they had to to get into a BCS game, the teams that didn't, didn't do enough. They don't lose the games they lost, then they are in instead. shrug

    Boise beat 1, KSU beat 1, Baylor beat 2....not sure how much that matters.

Where it's feasable to actually have a slow enough day to do what you've been doing. Wouldn't surprise me if that's the case based on the fact that the majority of UM fans that I know are low lifes (working those kinds of jobs) who live and die by the success of a football program at a school they have no affiliation with.

    Exactly. He's just here because he knew he could get a reaction from us. He's probably beating off to this just as hard as he was yesterday when he heard um was going to the sugar bowl.

    I don't think it's possible for anyone to be dumb enough to actually think Michigan deserves what they got. But maybe I have too much faith in people.
