"When Stonum was a freshman in the fall of 2008, he was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license. Rodriguez sat him out for one game and didn't start him in the next game. Stonum was sentenced in April 2009 to a year of probation for driving while impaired. He ended up in the Washtenaw County jail from June 4-7 last year because he didn't provide random preliminary breath tests, failed to complete a 10-day work program and didn't report to his probation officer."

I am going to take a risk and sound like an ummie slappy.
Don't be surprised to see Stonum to get his walking papers and be used as an example by Hoke. With rr at the helm Stonum was critical to their offense. With Hoke, who everyone expects to be coaching a team that runs the ball much more playing power football, Stonum isn't key to anything.
I just see this as too much of a gimme for Hoke AND Brandon to pass on so they will use Stonum as a PR opportunity.

Ventured over to mgoblog to see the reaction - that place has really gone downhill in the last few years... what a wasteland.
Dantonio really is in their head. The flip-flop on "discipline" is hilarious.
The main author even claimed that UM backed off recruiting Dion Sims because of his laptop involvement.
That smells like typical Wolverine revisionist history.
