I saw Arnett play in Gainesville in September. The kid looked VERY good for a freshman in terms of running routes and getting separation. I said at the time that I don't usually give a second thought about players that go elsewhere, but losing a receiver of this caliber was not good. I think Dantonio will do everything he can to get him now.

That was my lasting impression of the kid as well. He was very vaudvillian about the recruitment process. I hope he has matured. If he has, great. If not, maybe it wouldn't be the worst thing if he didn't choose MSU.
Nontheless, I wish he and his family the best.

The night before his committment was hilarious. The board loved it, and for such a personal and inconsequential, in the grand scheme of things, decision he made fun of it. It was great and you know it.

I didnt get in before he deleted the account, but when cBaggett left he made it very clear that he was going to miss his coach. And I know it has been a stressful season.
Hopefully he was smart enough to delete the account before he announced the transfer. The rumor mill had brought a lot of traffic to him, and the Vols and Walmarters were about equal. The MSU fans seemed to be the classiest of the bunch, just wishing him well. But we come to expect classy from ourselves, and the opposite from the rest of the world. I was just very impressed with what I was reading before he disappeared.

I didn't really care for the way he handled his recruitment. The whole Twitter and Facebook show he put on for the media seemed really immature. I know he's just a kid, but the way he tried to soak up every ounce of attention he could didn't really say a lot about his character. I would question how a kid like that handles the spotlight. He's a very talented prospect and would be a good fit here, but hopefully he has matured a bit. I'd love to see him in Green and White.

If Arnett does end up coming to MSU, I hope the rest of the 4-Star and 5-Star kids choosing between MSU and another school finally realize they should be a Spartan right away instead of wasting a year of their time at some other school before coming to their senses and joining the Green & White.

Nah...he was a doosh about it. Also, remember that he was suspected to be running a fraudulent recruitment from his end. The charge of fishy business from the arnett camp was out there...add in his insensitive comments about Dantonio's heart attack...it lead "insiders" to state that bridges were burned with MSU.
The guy has great talent...every MSU fan should want that talent on campus. However, fans that have concern over his character are justified in their concern.

He does come off as kind of a goofy douche.

Can not comment at this point, but I doubt

Update: DeAnthony Arnett is a Spartan
