What a fucking joke.

he made a simple, innocent tweet expressing happiness at MSU Football's national recruiting efforts, and Walmart Wolverines just snapped. He hadn't even mentioned UofM. It's silly how insecure the Walmart Wolverines are about any positive MSU talk.

Today, they were talking about Stonum and Mike, as he tends to do, took a hard line on discipline. Even spelled out how he felt about Rucker, Winston, etc. First caller basically accused him of being an MSU homer and hypocrite. It's pretty funny how the ridiculous UofM fans aren't even connected to the fucking school 95% of the time.

It's not necessarily that Valenti is right as it is that he does a pretty good job making Michigan fans look fucking ridiculous. I like that part. Today is no exception.

He's consistent. I whole heartedly agree with the stance he took (from the beginning) on Winston, and disagree pretty strongly on him wanting Rucker to have been kicked off the team, but if someone is consistent on their preferred discipline across different situations within a program and across other programs, be it UofM, Iowa, OSU, whomever, then I can at least respect that person as a thoughtful fan and commentator. I like Valenti a lot when it comes to college football. Other sports? Probably not as much.

Listening on itunes and am revolted by the idea that in order to curry favor with his audience he uses past attacks on Michigan State as currency. I guess survival in the Detroit market requires that kind of thing, but still

No kidding. Much as I hate commercials and try to avoid them, radio and TV aren't entertainment or informational mediums. They're advertising mediums.
