Walked out to my car this morning, just to find...

what I would approximate to be about 3 quarts of oil underneath it that had leaked out. The kicker here is that I got my oil changed yesterday right before I got home. It's going to be a lovely day!!!

The 1/2 idiots at Jiffy Lube prob put the plug in cock eyed.

That sucks. Good thing it was a short drive home before all the oil leaked out and the engine seized up.
I've got one better, though. One time I got the oil changed and the effers forgot to put new oil in it. I didn't make it home that day before the engine seized up. It wasn't a drive through quickie, so I was sitting in the customer waiting area and couldn't see the work being done to notice they were screwing up. Cost them a couple of grand to replace the block and taught me never to drive away from an oil change without checking the pressure (I know, that part sounds obvious, right).

One time after getting my oil changed, the hood of my car started smoking like crazy. The smoke flooded through the vents, and when I opened the hood, there was oil everywhere. They forgot to put the lid back on, because it was just sitting right next to it where they placed it.

Samething thing happened to me a few years ago. Got about 2 miles from the oil change place and my engine seized up. Cost them a couple of thousand as well as we made the replace it with a BRAND NEW engine (they tried to do a used/factory refurbed engine). This was about 50,000 miles into my Honda Accords life so was grateful I got a brand new engine out of the deal.

Back in the day, I worked in a shop and changed customers' oil. The first one I did (a new luxury car), I over tightened the oil plug, and stripped the threads. That's when I learned they have a whole compliment of different sized self-tapping replacement plugs just for such events.

After I got my car back from the whole deer ordeal, a week after driving it around, noticed that my AC would take FOREVER to cool down. I'm in line for some food, and coolant comes up from under the hood. It all spilled out at once. Turned out a hose wasn't connected properly. Got it fixed at another auto shop, went to the original body shop and they paid my bill. Morans.
