that's good news. His mom has cut my hair. She's very proud of him and values his academic progress as much as football achievement. These things are sometimes family decisions. If he wanted to try to play college football she probably wanted him to get a quality degree, and the end result is walking on at MSU. Welcome to State!

I officiated a few games that he played in last fall. A few times he absolutely undressed 2 guys right at the sideline. You think there is no room and he should have just went out of bounce. He pretty much shook them to the point that they didnt touch him. Sick moves.

Matt is an absolute gym rat with a high football IQ, and excells in the classroom. He runs good routes and has good hands, and could be a good possession receiver. He reminds me a lot of Blair White and Wes Welker.
