What are some things you find to be white trash?

  • Howler said...

I enjoy reading True Crime books and I've always associated these books with middle-aged, trailer park white women. I was an English major at MSU, so I'm a little more self-conscious about the things I read in public and the corresponding perceptions others have about them. By the way, if you haven't read Ann Rule's book about Ted Bundy, "The Stranger Beside Me," you will not be able to put it down. It is that effing good!

So, verdict? True crime books white trashy, or not?

    White trash people don't read

But when they do read, it's usually about shit like the Jon Benet Ramsey case or Jeffrey Dahmer.

    (Jeffrey Dahmer is fascinating, btw)

I disagree. While obviously not as classy as they'd like to be, it's tough to call OG "white trash".

    Red Lobster however, might qualify.

People who work at Subway. Or eat at Subway.

WTF is wrong with eating at subway? I actually went there yesterday, and there was a fly in the buffalo chicken, they were nice and got rid of the contaminated specemin and got a new batch of chicken out. Gave me a free meal deal, i looked at their surveys and saw that subway calls their employees "sandwhich artists". I wasn't aware of this i thought that was a name tRCMB made up. Silly me I should've known you guys aren't that clever.

The turkey, bacon, and avocado is fucking good. I enjoy it with some cool ranch doritos and a mountain dew.

Leaving your dog outside when you are not home so it barks at the whole neighborhood.

those "fire pits" that sit on the ground you can buy at Walmart or Home Depot.

allowing your kids to run around either naked or in a diaper.

    Crocs.

    bottle rockets.

Wow, never considered myself wt, but guess I am by your standards. I have a firepit (bought from Costco) that we use out by the pool, and we leave our dog outside (though we live on two acres and he runs around the vineyard). I make my kids keep their suits on, so maybe i'm only partially white trash.......

Oh, and my youngest daughter has a pair of crocs, though those don't count since she never wears them.

Saw a white trash dude the other day with a t-shirt that said on the back: "It ain't gonna scratch itself." (And there was an arrow pointing downwards towards his ass globes)

Thats why i started this thread i love when peoples opinions conflict who are you to say what is trashy or not, different strokes for different folks, IF I WANT TO WALK TO MY MAILBOX IN MY UNDERWEAR AND TAKE A LEAK OUTSIDE WHILE WALKING MY PITBULL, I CAN BECAUSE THIS IS 'MERICA. HAPPY BIRTHDAY 'MERICA. ONE MANS WHITE TRASH IS ANOTHER MANS WAY OF LIFE.

Safe to say if you have a vineyard on your property, you aren't white trash. Possibly French, but not white trash

I would say no. Most white trash go out of their way not to read.

Nothing, really. I just knew it would produce a good melt.

That's "meltdown." Not a Subway Melt.

I'm kinda pumped for the Buffalo Chicken being $5 this month. A pretty good sandwich that I haven't had for awhile.
