What bowls should be in the new 6-bowl rotation?

The Rose and Cotton (Jerryworld + zilly dollars) are probably a given, and the Sugar and Orange are likely in, but that still leaves two spots. Fiesta? Capital One? Chick-fil-A? It sounds like the Gator, Holiday and Alamo will be bidding as well. Thoughts?
The RCMB...is one of the most awful, alarming, inappropriate, disgusting, and offensive msg boards in the history of the internet.

Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl are guaranteed.
The Sugar and Fiesta have good shots.
Chick-Fil A, Alamo, Holiday and other bowls have shots. I wouldn't be shocked if the Little Caesars Bowl bids for one.

I have a feeling they wont just to appease the northern schools. "Protecting" would never benefit northern teams like it would for $EC schools, Texas, and USC.

It would be interesting to have a game outdoors in Dec/Jan thats for sure...if they are worried about capacity...new Giants Stadium is right across the river.
I like the idea of having it in NYC, and close to the east coast media hub.

The SEC will never allow a bowl game of that magnitude up north unless it is indoors. Means Detroit and Indy would be possible. I wouldn't count on it though.

I agree totally and think this is the biggest problem with the new system. It wont go over if one of the 6 top bowls are the Pizza Pizza bowl or a brand new one in Indy. However, if you want all the conferences in on this (like the B1G and kinda sorta the Big East) they will want games in the mid west/ north east.

Capital One Bowl only gets in if Capital One muscles their way into it being there. The Citrus Bowl Stadium is an absolute dump, and has no business hosting a top bowl.
If the NFL relocation thing gets figured out, I bet there'd be a game at Farmer's Field in addition to the Rose Bowl.

Renovation is suppose to start in January or February 2014, and take 11 months. Would it be ready for a bowl in January 2015? Maybe...

I like the idea of spreading it regionally, but what ever happens, I want to see the Fiesta out of the picture. Those corrupt bastards have had their snout in the trough too much as it is.

I'm not sure they are a strong lock to be included. The Fiesta Bowl was a nothing bowl before they invented the "Bowl Lobby" dirt that's currently infecting the sport. They aren't in a position to lobby like they used to be, and like other cities can...
....on the other hand...they have greased a lot of palms in the last 20 years, and have a lot of friends.

Bowls like the Chick-fil-A Bowl and a revamped Capital One Bowl could very well push out the Fiesta Bowl. The new line-up could easily be something like Rose-Cotton-Sugar-Orange-Capital One-Chick-fil-A.
