Smiths have the lifetime warranty. You just can't go wrong with them. I love the serpicos (aviators) but I abuse them quite a bit. I need to get my current pair adjusted at a glasses store somewhere.

I used to be the same way with sunglasses. I would hardly ever wear em, and if I did I'd lose them/break them etc

Last summer though I got a pair of Spy Logan's for like $70 on Ebay and I absolutely love them. I left them back home in Michigan one weekend and didn't have them for like a month and hated it! Great for driving, playing golf, playing softball, going to the beach, etc.

I work from home 4 days a week and my commutes to and from the office are in darkness . Ah well. Maybe I'll buy a pair and hang them off the back of my head like Guy Fieri.

The cheapest pair I can find that don't look stupid. I don't very often wear them and the times I do, they're much too easy to lose to be worth spending any significant amount of money on.

Surprisingly, I spend maybe 10-15 minutes on here maybe every couple hours (except when sleeping). I do plenty of work outside. The sun doesn't bother my eyes. I barely ever use the visor in my car either.

They may be in style right now, but Ray-Bans never really go out of style. I love 'em.

Sidenote on all sunglasses: There's a store inside the Las Vegas Cosmopolitan Hotel called Retrospecs that sells all kinds of refurbished sunglasses from decades past. Very cool place, though bring a big wad of cash.

whatever brand i got off the rack at target or meijer or somewhere like that. a step above gas station specs, but not a big one. I wear them all the time (sensitive eyes) and ultimately break/lose them after a year or so if i'm lucky. I bought a pair of Ray Bans once and promptly sat on them a month later. never again.
