I've wondered this too. I rarely agree with you gHost, but I think they are zoning in on fairy. It's not an insult against gays, it's an insult against effeminate males. Not all gay men are fairies. A lot of straight men are.

I think you can use fairy to insult either a gay or a straight but the reality is that fairy is not a synonym for gay.

I'll have to remember this flawless logic the next time someone argues against the use of the word "wigger". It's not an insult against blacks, it's an insult against white people who behave like them. Not all blacks act like n*****s. A lot of white people do.

The boner fairy has a day job, too. I know. She was my personal demon for a couple of months in ninth grade. Looked out my bedroom window one night and the girl next door (hot hot hot AND a senior) was undressing with her shades up. I sat by her in drafting class. Let me tell you something: the boner fairy is a sadistic, GPA-hating, bathroom-pass-grubbing menace. Absolutely no regard for decency or human dignity.
