What is up with chicks and tattoos?

    There's nothing more pathetic than the blonde who was once hot who's now a little overweight in her late 40s with the saggy tribal armband. Can you imagine 15 years from now the butterfly chest tattoo?

    Saggy arms on slightly overweight late 40's "blondes" are not hot, regardless of tattooing.

    You have to remember that there are a TON of people in Michigan who are uncomfortable with the idea that there are people who live differently and enjoy living that way.

    Cookie-cutter Midwesterners hate things that are different.

    For example, here's your typical midwesterner male:
    - Closed crop haircut or baseball cap
    - Clean cut
    - t-shirt or polo
    - khaki shorts
    - boat shoes or running shoes

    I was recently in Chicago and was just amazed at how almost everyone -- EVERYONE -- looked the same.

    It's boring.

    Chicks covered in tats are usually a bit more quiet, but incredibly opened minded.

    Granted, I have yet to understand chicks w the breast plate tat. Seriously, wtf were they thinking? Inquiring minds would like to know.

    Besides I like independent women with some self-esteem. Tats just reflect a need to conform.

    You can't go to a Kroger or Meijer in Lansing w/o running into dozens of gals (teens all the way int 40's) sporting tats. You can't drive a half mile in Lansing without going past a tat parlor.

    I'm not -butthurt- at all.

    The point I'm trying to refute is the "oh wahhhhh us lonely tattoo people wahhhhh" baloney. Tats are EVERYWHERE.

    Getting a tat doesn't make you "different" in any substantive way.

    Getting your whole body inked up, though, does make you a bit of a freak. I mean, going full ink isn't an act of conformity or anonymity; it's an act of "heyyyyyyyyyyy look at meeeeeeee!" So getting negative feedback is part of the bargain.
