What's the difference between hippie, hipster and emo?

Hipsters have more of a high-pitched scream when stabbed in the kidney. Hippies are more of a squeal.

I might be wrong, but my impression is that there are political hipsters and hipsters that used to be "scene" kids. The latter are still in their early 20s and are the types of people that conservatives make fun of for allegedly having rich daddies who support their "self-indulgent" lifestyle. Many of the more political hipsters are older, are more in it for the long run, and often couldn't fit in a pair of skinny jeans with a shoehorn. Again, I may be wrong.

The absolute age limit for "hipsters" is probably like 30-32 years old. Anyone older than that is probably belonging to a different(but similar) group.

If I name them and get a copyright, will I get, like, rich or something?
