Where the hell are we supposed to meltdown about Drake?

    You know..sometimes I wish some of these kids for their own sake wouldn't make these type of comments. I could care less if he wants to come to MSU or not. But don't make obnoxious comments. Same thing happened after the Parker commitment. You could have just said I want to decommit because I want to keep my options open with other scholarships. I doubt he comes back. I have also heard that Dantonio pretty much kills your scholarship if you decommit. Don't know if he will do that to Drake.

    Really not sure why he didn't say the word decommmitted back when he re-opened. Anybody not completely drunk on Blower Kool Aid knew he had basically decommitted.

    One of them said something to the effect of, I was going to go to MSU, until my coaches pointed out they haven't put any Oline (or some position) into the NFL, I never knew that and it changed my mind immediately. They showed me the (position) and that they had put people into the NFL, I just couldn't be selfish with my decision and had to make the best decision for me.

    Granted, if we can take walkon recievers and put them in the NFL for a couple of years, maybe the coaching up part is better than the recruiting. I'll try to reserve any judgements on the staff until after this year. One more mediocre year, and I would hope something will be done offensively.

    I get it..we haven't put anybody on the Oline in the NFL in a while. Fine. But what recruits need to understand that in order to get players into the NFL we need talent. We will see what happens this year with Bollman on board.

  • I wonder if Michigan is cheating again? Basically need to win after all the stadium upgrades and the Rich Rod years. Only way they will be able to keep with O$U and the $EC.

Granted in 32 months I'm probably not going to remember who he is, but I hope our staff gets a lot more aggressive in the recruiting front.

    I'm tired of MSU taking the high road, Izzo taking his foot off the gas against UM at home. Dantonio taking a knee at the 10. The local media from Detroit isn't going to give us any breaks and we need to flat out humiliate them and their players. They are going to do whatever they can to convince kids that we are the devil incarnate and there is no chance for a future at MSU, while we are going to be having tea parties with their coaches.

    It's like msu gets a really hot girlfriend, but we trust her and let her go out with her friends. She flirts with a couple hot guys and tells them she has a boyfriend. Then they're all like is that my problem? No. Sure some people respect that and lay off, but a lot of dudes just want to bone so they talk shit about msu and eventually she falls for it

  • I made a ton of bad decisions when I was his age. He thinks that he is too good for MSU football, truth is that the MSU family is too good for him. Good luck to him, extra spot for a kid that wants to be a spartan!!

    How many um players went to the combine vs. MSU players? How many um players last year got drafted vs. MSU players?

    Coach D needs to kill his scholarship offer out of principle. You don't commit here, post pictures of MSU with "home sweet home," and then start spending tons of time at scUM and sing their fight song.

    I don't know why Drake wants to just focus on Football. Football has a higher rate of injuries than Basketball and he is talented in both sports. This is what suprises me. I get he wants to play Football but having Basketball as a backup would have benefit him.
