pretty vanilla set so far... but hey it's about what I've come to expect with these festival sets. Hoping for a raging Antelope or Reba in set II

Phish are boring and always have been. A bunch of half paced songs with no melody and a lot blues noodlings. Please name their ONE solid song along the lines of Satisfaction or Hey Jude...they have nothing.

This festy setlist is their cheeseburger night. The diehards and PT set gazers would be miserable if this was a normal show on a summer tour. I'd be a little annoyed too, but at a festival this is a fun show.

i love the stones and i love the beatles, but you ask any member of any of those bands to sit down and write complex compositions like phish has done, and they would look like scared, petrified children. they wouldn't know where to begin. they can't measure up on an intellectual level. i'm not saying that's the only thing that should be factored in to judging a band/artist, but to write off Phish so flippantly like you do and sing the praises of folks who couldn't measure up to Phish intellectually is kind of funny to me.

have some respect for the art.

also, Forbin...normally I couldn't give two shits about repeats because Phish fans consider anything within the last 2 or 3 nights to be a repeat, but this is a little too much
