My "Big Upset" comes tonight when the wife tells me she doesn't recognize Steak and BJ day.

The SEC is bad.

Vandy has lost as a 4 or 5 seed the last 3 years in the first round.

Count me as someone that is selling Vandy big time.

I really think Baylor could lose in the first round. They aren't that great of a shooting team and they have eeked out a ton of close wins against marginal teams. (10 single digit wins against unranked teams and 6 of those being less than 5 points). Compare that to Michigan State who only had 4 single digit wins total and 2 against unranked teams.

My bracket of what I actually thought would happen was too chalk, so I'm considering the following:

VCU into the Sweet 16. Everyone's all high on Wichita State, which usually means flame-out, and I've got no faith in IU. Shaka could make another run on his way to illinois.

LBSU into the Sweet 16. They're good, and loaded with seniors, but they don't have any tournament experience, and New Mexico is reportedly good. I like the winner of that game to take down L'ville and then get stepped on by MSU. I can't tell if I'm buying into the local media hype in L.A., since LBSU is the only SoCal team to make it, they're getting a lot of press.

Either NCState, Belmont, or Detroit into the Sweet 16. I feel strongly that UNC's bracket is going to fall apart for them, (and it's weak to begin with), I'm going to pick one of these three to shock the world this weekend. Gotta take a chance somewhere.

Other than that, the biggest upsets I have are 10 over 7, no big deal.
