Who should sing at Super Bowl XLVI ?

i thought this years performances were the worst in years so i ask.. who should sing the National Anthem and who should perform the halftime show.
My suggestions
National Anthem should go to someone who can actually sing. Taylor Swift or Kelly Clarkson come to mind as singers who have actually had success recently and i would imagine they sound better than Christina Aguilera.
As far as the halftime show, i understand that this is something that will never be agreed on completely, but if i had to suggest some, i might say Rihanna, Jay Z, Kanye, or something of the like.
Thats just my suggestions, and i'm curious to know what others here think.

nation anthem - instrumental, or a Naval Choir or something like that.
Halftime - Led Zeppelin, kicking off their reunion tour
More realistically, Jay-Z, Eminem, Kanye etc., someone that is currently popular, but also not a flash in the pan.
Remind yourself. Nobody built like you, you design yourself.

The national anthem, IMO, is meant to be sung by more of a country type singer. Taylor Swift would be fine or if there are any famous singers from Indiana.
As for halftime, I'd like to see an old school band like Led Zepplin or AC/DC, but that's just because that is the type of music I like. In all likely hood it will be someone like Eminem or Kanye West or someone like that.

I've heard Taylor Swift is pretty bad live, much like the Black Eyed Peas. So i don't know if that would solve much.

this is how you do a national anthem. terry bradshaw was off crying when this happened. i cant picture anything more american than this clip. you'd better salute your computer and fold your flag up for the night before pressing play. silence please

I'd like to see Janet Jackson back for the halftime show. She could do it topless, and then have Justin Timberlake cover her up at the end.
For the national anthem, it should be a duet by Bob Dylan and Ozzy Osbourne. If they fuck up the lyrics, no one will notice.

ESPN.com broke the news of the talks between Falcons owner Arthur Blank and Bon Jovi, who reportedly may buy a 15-percent stake in the franchise for $150 million. But the team later said rumors are slippery when wet.
Just last month, Bon Jovi was at the Falcons-Packers playoff game at the Georgia Dome. Wearing a black and red shirt and jacket combo, Bon Jovi posed for a picture with former Falcon Warrick Dunn, who now is a limited partner in the franchise.

You guys that want to see Zep...you realize the band formed 43 years ago, right? They have some of the most classic songs in history to keep everybody entertained, but anytime I see a band like that perform 30+ years past their prime, it makes me uncomfortable.
I posted this in the BEP thread, but how bout Stone Temple Pilots or Soundgarden? Lots of great tunes, and still young enough to put on a good, energetic show. And no more bands based on electronics...IT DOESN'T WORK LIVE.
