(AP) -- Los Angeles county animal control officials are heralding the loyalty of a black Labrador retriever that braved traffic to stay by another dog that was fatally struck by a car.A motorist who saw the dogs on a La Puente street Wednesday morning put down traffic cones to alert other drivers and shot video of the dogs. The video released Saturday showed the female Labrador lying next to a motionless, yellow Labrador as vehicles pass dangerously close to them.
The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control says the 2-year-old dog, who animal shelter staff and volunteers have named Grace, appears to have been well cared for.
However, nobody has come forward to claim her so she is up for adoption.

The Most Annoyingly Cute Thing Ever
My dog started doing this when she was 9 months old randomly. The video is of a 10 minute commute I do most days highlighting some parts of the trip. Her name is Shiro and she's a purebred Siberian Husky in this video she is 10 months old. Enjoy!

Penny playing ball on her own
Penny, our new dog, like to chase her ball. But she doesn't need us to do it. There is a field in front of our home that has a couple small hills. She'll carry the ball up a hill and drop it, then chase after it, and do it again. If she drops the ball and it doesn't roll, she'll nudge it a bit to get it going.

+1 for the English Pointer. My GSP won't stay out of our pool. tWife had to actually drag him out this afternoon because he was falling asleep while swimming around. Went for a run then straight into the pool he went. Didn't realize how tired he actually was
Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword obviously never encountered automatic weapons.
