Why wouldn't I root for him? The RichRod Experiment was hilarious, and helpful for MSU. He was basically helping MSU the entire time he was there- I'll root for him like I root for Izzo's former assistants.

I think it would be great if RichRod got to the Rose Bowl before Hoke or his replacement do!

i have no ill will toward him, although he was a terrible coach at UM. I think he'll have a chance to succeed out in the Pac 10 (or whatever it's called) and hope he does.

It all depends on who he would have hired as his D coordinator. With UM's schedule last year though.

I hope he wins at UA. His style fits the pac 12 much better and I definitely don't have any ill will toward the guy. That said it will be much harder for him to recruit players to Tucson. I live there and believe me it is not that exciting of a city for a college student IMO.

UA campus is nice but yeah Tucson is not a great place IMO no offense... Also I don't think the university has a lot of cash to invest in improving the facilities as was mentioned by other posters

Not for football. Basketball gets anything it wants though. Just look at their football stadium haha... other than the gigantic screen it sucks.

He did not become a horrible coach when he was hired at Scum. I do want him to do well, as I think he was screwed over by half of the Scum Alum, former Scum players, Carr, and the administration. It was hysterical watching the rodent meltdown, but I felt sorry for him. He was also too loyal to his d-coordinator, who was awful. He should have more success in the West than in the Big 10. Wonder if he'll get what he was allegedly promised by Branden when he was fired - a home and home with wherever he ended up coaching. Doubt it.

Without a doubt, Dick Rod and Brian Ellerbe are two of my favorite coaches of all time, absolutely I will be rooting for him. If they made jerseys for coaches, I would rock one of those too..
