Real Food Cafe is the best breakfast I've ever had. I eat there almost every Sunday for brunch. Huge portions, fast service, and great food.

Haven't been to RF yet, but I love Wolfgangs.

I mean the portions are ridiculously huge. It's really great food done right and it will be your biggest meal of the day at a reasonable price. I go to the Realfood on Eastern in Alger Heights, it's always very busy so expect a wait, but it's worth it. It's breakfast done right both in concept and execution. I have never been disappointed in a meal there.
Wolfgangs actually has a couple omelets I really like, but there are times when they have an off day and the food isn't that great. Real Food is really one of the top breakfast places I have been to nationwide. Seems like the type of place Man vs Food would visit.
Not knocking Wolfgangs at all, they are a great breakfast place, but Real Food is on another level.

I've eaten at Wolfgangs several times and always left stuffed, so I'll be looking forward to the bigger portions at RF.
A friend of mine lives a few blocks away from the RF on Eastern and he just told me the food is great there. Looks like I have a new breakfast place to try out this weekend. Honestly, before this thread I'd never heard of Real Food Cafe, even though I've probably driven by it a dozen times.

Wolfgang's by a little, just because it's right by my house. Real Food is pretty incredible though. Their cinnamon rolls are amazing.

Make sure to bring cash to RF, they don't take CCs. At least the one on Northland Dr doesn't.

I don't even like Wolfgang's very much, so Real Food by a mile. I'd put Cherie Inn and Electric Cheetah (only does breakfast on Sunday, I believe) above both of them. And my favorite "I'm hung over and just want a traditional meat, eggs, potatoes and coffee breakfast" is Mr. Burger, believe it or not.

Cherie Inn is good, the Electric Cheetah was good, but they have really let that place go to shit, I wont eat there anymore after loving it for several months, I ate there maybe 15 times, but the last 5 were horrible.
The management just doesn't give a shit or they would see their restaurant has gone down hill both in terms of food, service, and general level of experience. It's a shame too as they had a good thing going.
