I work from home twice a week and feel more productive when I do. When I go in I have a 45 drive each way, bs with coworkers and jump at the opportunity to leave ASAP (mostly to beat traffic). When I'm home I start working at 7:20, instead of starting my commute at that time, and don't mind staying online till 6pm or so. The only part I miss when WingFH is the "ooh I've been meaning to ask you" moments around the hallways or coffe or stations.
FTR - I'm an IT operations leader for one of the larger corps in the world. 99% of my day is on conferences calls with people in the US, EMEA and MX.
