You Know What Would Look Really Sweet On The Scoreboards??

  • Some fucking statistics. 5,412 square feet of scoreboard and you can't put any kind of statistics up at any point??? I literally never saw any stats at all the entire night. Hell, with our anemic offense, you only would have needed about 10 square feet for our stats. I'm glad to see that Huntington, Pepsi, GMC, Fly Lansing, and every other fucking company in this damn state is sponsoring us, but I feel like it wouldn't be too much to ask to set aside some room on the ribbon to put stats up. There were points that the sponsor area on the scoreboard just had the MSU logo or some little design. I don't know why you can't put some stats up at that point. Also, the sound system blows. Don't get me wrong, the scoreboards are badass, but the sound system just sucks. Can barely hear it at all.

    That just really annoyed me and I'm just in a bad mood. Might already be a thread on this. Didn't look. Don't care.

    Somehow we didn't get one replay of the interception which was overturned.

  • The media person needs fired yesterday. I just got back from the game.... All the way to Traverse City. What's the point of having 10 million $$ scoreboards if all they are gonna put on them are ads?? Seriously can we get a f'ing replay?? Can you not play shit music that no one wants to hear like backstreet boys, nsync, and Saturday, Saturday??? Some damn stats would be amazing, some video other than a rotating football helmet with lightning bolts in the background?? And THAT better not be as loud as that system is!! Quit introducing who gives a shit that did something who knows how long ago when we need to make noise. Holy hell! An while your at fixing stuff, mic the field so people in the north end of the stadium can hear the band. End rant

    You kind of answered your own question. You have to pay for the electronics somehow.

    It's two games, and those LED boards can be reconfigured easily. I'm sure the AD will eventually strike the balance between paying the bills, informing the fans and making things look cool.

    there is no balance. none. a million ads, barely a replay, and no stats. they even got rid of the closed captioning. wtf? huge waste of money so far. if you have to play 95% ads to pay for it, maybe we didn't need them.

  • If I remember right, they showed game stats throughout the Boise State game, I don't remember seeing stats for both teams ONCE tonight. At some point they did show ND's stats, only ND's. Wtf? Replays were horrible as well, I was sitting in 106 which was mixed with ND fans and they were even commenting on how shitty the lack of replays were.

    Yes, because during the game, my Internet is so speedy and it never hangs...pages and apps work like a dream during games inside Spartan Stadium.
    Oh, and did I mention all of the text messages I'm able to receive? Of course, it's nice that Verizon saves up all of my text messages and pushes them thru about a 1/2 hour after the game ends and I'm back in the parking lot.

    Spot on. This "fan cam" garbage gets super annoying real quick when I also have to watch the bullcrap product our team put out on the field. The scoreboards are actually taking away from the game experience for me...we're getting our asses kicked, and people are attention whoring it up..."wheeeeeee look at me!!!!!!". Ridiculous.

    I have an iPhone + Verizon and didn't have an issue with Internet.
