Let's say you can work from anywhere that you can get an Internet connection and make about $125k/year. Mid-30s, married with 3 young kids, all from Vietnam, where do you live?
Northern Michigan?
West coast?
East coast?
Are there any cool college towns other than EL?

Those are my favorite cities to be in. I think all of those are perfect for a young family. Tons of stuff to do outside and beautiful cities.

Obviously depends on what you like, but I love living on the West Coast. Seattle has been great- very livable for young families. I like cities, but am not sure that there is a better fit for me at this stage of my life (5 & 7 year old).
Bonus is having 2 other houses in my neighborhood with Spartan flags!

I too love the west coast. Particularly Seattle. The only hitch is the parents (grand patents to the kids) are all getting up there in age. We've spent the last decade in DC, NC and FL. The hope with maybe TC would be getting that artsy, foodie vibe but being closer to home.
Plus , I could get back to SS for a game. Haven't been since MD's first season.
On the other hand, it might be too remote and we could go stir crazy! What about Minneapolis? I heard that is a cool city. Some of the city elements without the rat race atmosphere of the east and west coasts.

A section or more of land, attached to a lake. I would just hunt and fish all the time. Raise, grow and harvest most of my own food. Live the simple life.

CONUS OR OCONUS?
I would probably want to live in in Stockholm since I loved it when I took a trip there. As far as the states go...somewhere warm, but not too hot. Not really sure though.
