Zack Novak pisses in the wind, trys out for Cleveland

  • Yeah, kid--undercut a ripped 6'10" man who is making millions playing basketball and see how long your life span is.

  • Should we really be making fun of this? There are plenty of perennial State bball grads that are playing all over the world because they couldn't make it in the NBA.

Yea, of all the dumb Michigan threads out there this is one of the dumbest.

  • The fact that he has even made it this far is surprising to me, I mean this kids only other "offer" was a non commitable offer from valpo which was conditional on him accepting immediatley or it was gone. At the time, I didn't even know why the hell Beilein even recruited him and Douglass other then the fact that he could not get anyone better to sign on and play at Michigan. I give credit to Novak for craving out a nich as a productive 4 year player and possibly turning that into a professional career oversees... certainly did not think that would be the case 4 years ago.

He ended our win streak over Michigan at the Bres... I'll always hate him for that. But give the kid credit for giving the NBA a shot, or at least trying. No harm in that.

Me too. I was going to start another thread about UM. Thanks to Bobs bump, I saw this one. Still might post another one, maybe about how awesome it is that Harris spurned them?

Bob's the man! Anytime I'm ever feeling down about myself, thinking I'm the most pathetic loser piece-of-dog-shit on the planet, I see a thread bumped by Bob and relalize I'm not that bad after all.rockon

I fully expect Novak( sooner rather than later) to end up as the greeter at local Ann Arbor WalMart store, where his job security will likely never be in question.

Maybe, maybe not. Our closest WalMart no longer has greeters...

God bless him. If Brian Cardinal can make a career in the NBA maybe Novak can too.

What an unmitigated insult to Brian Cardinal. Similar styles, maybe, but Cardinal was a MUCH better player than Novak will ever be. He'd body you up and play D, not just body up for 3 seconds then flop. Better rebounder/banger, too.

If I've insulted Brian Cardinal my only regret is that it wasn't more offensive.
