Should we really be making fun of this? There are plenty of perennial State bball grads that are playing all over the world because they couldn't make it in the NBA.

The fact that he has even made it this far is surprising to me, I mean this kids only other "offer" was a non commitable offer from valpo which was conditional on him accepting immediatley or it was gone. At the time, I didn't even know why the hell Beilein even recruited him and Douglass other then the fact that he could not get anyone better to sign on and play at Michigan. I give credit to Novak for craving out a nich as a productive 4 year player and possibly turning that into a professional career oversees... certainly did not think that would be the case 4 years ago.

What an unmitigated insult to Brian Cardinal. Similar styles, maybe, but Cardinal was a MUCH better player than Novak will ever be. He'd body you up and play D, not just body up for 3 seconds then flop. Better rebounder/banger, too.

Life is difficult...although I do not like UofM even if one of my children had their best shot at fame in the School of Music there I wish all the best to these young people who are trying to achive thier best!
