not a huge haul, but it was fun to find these. Look the pecker has a little pecker, LOL. We would have stayed out there longer, but we ran out of beer.

Seriously? We were thinking about going up there in a couple of weeks but if the season has already started up there, they will be gone already, won't they?
We always like to stock up on the Hellfire jerkey at the Dublin store when we go up there.

That would be my guess. We started seeing them 4 weeks ago, and quit seeing them 2 weeks ago. But, it was a pretty open area. Maybe if you get into some hilly areas where the sun hasn't shown as much, there could be more. I have never branched out too far from my own property.

I have been looking in the woods by my place....it was kind of early still hopefully when it warms up more will pop up. Nice find though!

I LOVE morels. But, I haven't looked for them in years. I always say, "next year," and something always comes up. This year, major knee surgery.
