All the writers (Jack, Dan, Sean) are 5-stars. There are way more 5-stars than 2-stars on this site. When we first got on the site, you had 25 votes/day and you could use them to upvote/downvote as much as possible. I got into it with those Maryland d-bags that tried to come on here and say they ran 247; I think I had a rating of 50 after the first week .

I think 3-4 months later, the Bama contingent (of which Shannon Terry, aka, "Lucky", is a member) complained about the "neg-bombing", so they shifted it to 5 downvotes/day and only if you cast most of your 20 "other" upvotes.

Well, 20/25 = 80%, which happens to be the minimum for a 5-star poster. Not coincidentally, everyone's poster rating started going through the roof, so just the "star" rating is generally meaningless. I actually like the concept as a way to tell if someone's a troll, but it's worthless as is.

I will say that it's pretty easy to tell how hot a set of pics are by the # of upvotes the OP gets . That's useful.

Please tell me you are not really this insecure.

Yes, I "deserve" my 5 star rating. I demand that people upvote my crappy posts to reflect how awesome I am.

No way. gHost and Tanfan are much more hated. You're just the most consistently terrible.

It is not a true five star until 247's Alabama site approaches you and offers a VIP membership.

I have received no such offer, but did get a PM from some guy that said he was a Kent State fan looking to recruit posters to a site that does not yet exist.

Being a poster that has boibeys also seems to help one's star rating.

And I hate myself for wanting to pummel blanch about the head and shoulders (and not in a sexy, foreplay kinda way).

I think anytime we get to talk about you, it always leads to a lot of posts. Car wrecks inspire the same reaction.

Absolutely no reason to hate yourself for that.

I think people who don't have 5 stars typically know why they don't.
