Yeah I'm probably the worst church dresser ever. I regularly wear jeans and a hoodie and even I wore khakis and a polo for mass today. It's Easter.

What if I'm really poor and the only clean pair of pants I have is a pair of zubaz from 1995? Should I be banned from church because I didn't dress up? Does God hate me because I'm poor? These are questions that need to be answered.

I was afraid of that. I always assumed the collection plate was passed around to make poor people feel bad and deter them from showing up again.

i wouldn't want to drink from the chalice right after some poor person just drank or turn around and do the handshake thing with them. they really ought to give them their own churches to attend or a separate room or something. it's okay that there are poor people, i just don't want to see them.

i know. some hippy with long hair in sandles and a robe came in bleeding all over the place. he was going on about he was the son of god or something like that and had to be escorted out.... people like him should be thrown in an institution!
