We each do our own. Don't like the way she does mine, she doesn't like the way I do hers - laundry, that is.

She likes to put everything in the dryer for about 5-10 minutes, then hang it up and let it finish drying on the line. I feel that a 'dryer' should be used to 'dry' clothes until they're fully 'dry'. Early on she tried to insist that I do it her way, I screwed it up a couple of times (can't imagine how that happened), and so now she does her laundry and I do mine. Been married 18 years now, seems to be working OK.

And since I'm an RCMB'er, the nanny does the kid's laundry.

Exactly. God forbid we ask for a hot meal or laundry to be done on occasion when we do everything else on top of working more hours

We both do the laundry when we can. Sometimes I have more time, sometimes he does.

But we're more restricted on when to do the laundry since we live with his parents. There's always something in the wash, and if we do laundry when my MIL is around, then she likes to critic it in some way how we're doing it wrong. So we try to do it when no one is home.

Thankfully, I am apartment shopping and a washer/dryer in the apartment is a must.

Will never be a neat freak, but turns out I'm kind of particular about my laundry. Who knew?

I've never done laundry. I do some folding, putting clean stuff away, and all my own ironing.

I do my laundry as I'm convinced she shrinks my clothes

My wife's clothes have really shrunk since our wedding day.

At least that's how she's looking at it.

Bump...Today my wife just got a raise and now makes more then me, so the mother-in-law/wife will do the laundry. How ever I still maintain, I would do it, but they like doing it. Just like I like to cut the grass/shovel snow. It's in the DNA

Yes, 95% of the time I do it all. Usually once I get home on Fridays after work. We split the other chores, dishes, cleaning etc. She does the cooking. It's a nice balance in our relationship. We both work full-time and split the chores. it works out wonderfully. Plus usually after cleaning together after we get dirty in the sack

It's a good thing that you said "if" you get married, and not "when" you get married, as the latter makes an assumption that doesn't seem real likely to happen.
