Does anyone that is "in the know" have an idea what 247 is doing to prevent this mess? The fire fighting method is admirable, but highly ineffective.

half of the entire first page now. Time to charge non VIP a buck. I can't imagine such a small amount would drive anyone away and it just might deter the offshore spammers.

I liked that idea myself, but then they started hitting tRCMB with the "How I met your baby momma" thread. Maybe 100 posts before being able to start a thread?
