I did. Sitting higher up than I normally like (section 208) but I just couldnt get to the computer any sooner. i know they are old and it will not be as good without Frusciante but one of the few bands still on my concert bucket list.

Section 119 here. I'm not totally sold on the new album, but I've seen some videos of Klinghoffer doing Frusciante's stuff when Frusciante had to leave on parts of tours in the past. He was pretty damn good. I still think it'll be a great show.

EDIT-Most recent performances (they are touring Europe and South America) I looked up in YouTube are pretty good. The band sounds pretty good but Kiedis does not always hit the right notes.

Going to see live concerts Downtown is always a good time. Get there early and hit up some of the kick ass restaurants and bars down there.

I stopped listening to them when every song had to do with something in California. So fucking annoying. What happened to the old 1980's Chili Pepper Funk Punk style. They are an overproduced pile of shit now.

They came into Rick's one night when I was working after a concert of theirs at the State Theater in '91. They jumped up on stage and played a set using whatever band was playing there that night's instruments. Simply amazing that with a few tweaks to the instruments how much better they sounded than the other band.

I don't know, maybe since Orlando was one of their first dates, but they were amazing. I'm sure if you saw them when they were in their 20s it couldn't compare. But as far as shows go in general, they were on fire. The whole arena was going nuts

Last time I saw tRHCP was at Woodstock. Woke up the next morning and our tent was one of maybe 30 left after the place went to shit. Ice Cube, Roots/Badu, Rage Against the Machine, etc. Good shit
