We seriously don't need two separate threads. There's way too much discussion that gets lost in two threads that is applicable to both consoles. When discussing gamer IDs for playing together online and the like, just mention which system you're on.

There were specific threads for both the Xbox and PS3 for the last 2 COD games as well as the last 2 NCAA Football editions.

There is also a general MW3 thread that was started a few months ago that has some general info in it. Don't hate on us PS3 types since we have been the most active with the COD games on here. You Red Ringers can stick to your multiple threads and dynasties relating to the NCAA football games.

If I wanted a PS3 I'd get in my car and go buy one. Target is open until 10:00.

I often thought that this might be the underlying cause of all the lag as well...now with elite, we'll be paying for it.

Regular Elite is free and has all of the stuff in that video, the subscription Elite includes all of that plus any DLC and extra contests and challenges. Pretty pointless imho unless you are super hardcore and plan on playing MW3 nonstop for over a year.

PS the lag is due to the poor matchmaking and host system in BOps, not to mention the admitted to programming in some lag compensation in an attempt to make everyones connection equal. Too bad it is flawed as it punishes(too much) the people with the best connections and really helps out the people with weak connections.

Where is the best place to pre-order at this point? Not sure I will take off work for release day, but am sure I will log some hours the coming months

If you planned on pre-ordering the Hardened edition you are pretty much SOL. I tried to yesterday and the nerds at Gamestop told me they are all accounted for. They did say Best Buy has been selling them to people even though they really don't have anymore. I nerded it up and pre paid for the entire game and an Elite subscription. It'll save me some money cause I know I would end up getting the map packs anyway. Also, they are supposed to have a ton of DLC like weapons, accessories, player models, etc.

New BRAHs? I thought they have to try out first? And by try out I mean they have to be able to do funny shit in the game, talk smack to annoying kids, and use the toilet with their mic still turned on.
